Our Doctors
Kara Birks DC
Dr. Birks received her Bachelor's Degree from UNI in Biology before graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic with her doctorate degree in 2009. She has also acquired her acupuncture certificate and has enjoyed adding that to her practice.
Birks Chiropractic has been open since 2011 and Dr. Birks has enjoyed being a part of her patients' lives since then!
Linda Claeys DC
Dr. Linda Claeys grew up in and graduated from Geneseo and is proud to call it her hometown! She received her doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1996 and opened her chiropractic office in Geneseo for eight years before moving to Michigan where she also practiced. She is excited to be back in her hometown practicing with Birks Chiropractic! Dr. Claeys enjoys spending time outside, traveling to sporting events and time with her family!
Owen McConnell DC
Dr. McConnell is so excited to join the amazing staff at Birks Chiropractic and Wellness Center. You may have seen him around the clinic as he recently completed a 3 month internship while finishing up his chiropractic doctoral program. He has since graduated and is officially Dr. McConnell!
Before attending Palmer, he received his bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Central College in Pella, Iowa in 2018. Then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport where he provided coverage as a certified athletic trainer for the Geneseo and Erie/Prophetstown High School sports teams. He enjoys time with his family, sports and being outdoors.
He is excited to serve the members of his hometown and provide the best possible care!
